Convinced by this blogger’s post, I’ve dropped the calender. If you use Wordpress, then it is worth considering doing the same.

The feature might be handy if you blog each day without fail, and your content is sometimes directly related to the date - for instance, personal and private blogs, when it is important whether it is a Sunday or a Wednesday. Mine, as you probably know, is not so.
