Submission to the Australia and Singapore Digital Cooperation Initiative on the renegotiation of the Digital Economy Agreement of the Singapore–Australia Free Trade Agreement (SAFTA).

Summary: Blockchain technology will shape digital trade across the Asia-Pacific. The submission proposes two areas for the Digital Economy Agreement: blockchain as new economic infrastructure for trusted supply-chain information, making trade between Australia and Singapore more frictionless; and blockchain-based storage and verification of educational and professional credentials, to support labour mobility between the two countries.
